Water for Christ was established from the joint passions of sharing the Gospel of Christ and supplying clean water to villages in developing countries. In February 2011, Dr. Bobby Bowman (far left) led a mission team on a trek through several remote, rural villages in Ghana, Africa. 

Tim Tyler (far right), along with other team members, had the opportunity to see first hand the need for clean water in those remote communities. After traveling home, plans were set in motion, and a team returned to Ghana in November 2011. Tim and a team, drilled the first well, trained village men to maintain the well, and continued to share the Gospel of Christ to the thirsty. The ministry was born out of a need seen in Ghana, but Water for Christ hopes to go to other developing countries in Africa, Asia, and other parts of the world, supplying people with clean water.
